The Interior Designs - Mission Possible
The designs for SGT Crouch's home resolves several issues he had within the master bedroom and bath of his home. The room originally
designed for a single bed did not provide sufficient mobility and as a result was difficult to negogiate. Cameron found himself running into the
furniture damaging not only it but himself. In the design process the design team worked to solve this problem. How to create more space for
easier mobility within the existing structure. Storage was also an issue. Insufficient space for his medical supplies made it difficult to care for
his physical needs. Due to his spinal injury his need for bedding that shifted with the change in his condition was also vital to the new design.
The design motif for the project is Mid-Century Modern. A clean simple look that emphasizes geometric shapes; mainly squares and rectangles.
